ATHENS — This is a rare sentence in these parts: Every Georgia tailback was practicing on Friday.

Freshman Elijah Holyfield, who had been out since Saturday’s scrimmage with a sprained ankle, was back practicing on Friday. Holyfield was wearing a regular red jersey.

The only tailback in a non-contact jersey remains junior Sony Michel, who continues to practice, though he remains limited and has yet to be cleared for the season opener on Sept. 3. Still, the team continues to work in Michel in case he is cleared. Michel broke his arm in early July.

One other note from Georgia’s practice:

Tyler Catalina continues to be the first-teamer at left tackle, with Isaiah Wynn sliding to left guard and Lamont Gaillard at right guard.
