Georgia fans will want to mark their calendars if they want to meet Kirby Smart, the Georgia players and UGA X.

The University of Georgia announced that 2016 Fan Day will take place on Saturday, Aug. 6.

The Bulldogs will hold an open practice for fans to attend from 2:30-4:30 in Sanford Stadium. Following the conclusion of Georgia’s practice, Smart and the UGA players will be available for autographs on the field starting at approximately 4:45. Admission to the event is free, and the players and coach Smart will be available for 45 minutes afterwards. Fans will only be allowed to bring two item and will only be allowed to have the 2016 Football Schedule poster signed.

Select fans will also have the chance to get their picture taken with UGA X. A special ticket will be required to have their picture taken with UGA X. The special tickets will be given out to the first 150 fans at the East End Zone ticket windows located on East Campus Road. Fans can start to pick up the available tickets starting at 11 a.m. on Aug. 6.

Fans can enter the stadium through gates 2, 4,  5 and 7 to watch the practice starting at 1:30 and enter through the West End Zone for the autograph session. Parking is available in any lot along East Campus Road, Psychology-Journalism, Clarke Howell, Legion Field, Tate Center parking deck, Hull Street parking deck and North Campus parking deck.
