The narrative around the SEC Championship this week has been that no one believes Georgia can upset Alabama. The ESPN experts on College GameDay did nothing to change that narrative.
All the analysts, including ESPN’s Lee Corso, picked Alabama to beat Georgia on Saturday. At the end of every pregame show, Corso dons the head gear of his last pick. This week, Corso put on the Alabama mascot head after his prediction.
It was a clean sweep from the panel, as ESPN analysts Desmond Howard, Kirk Herbstreit and David Pollack also picked Alabama to win. The Crimson Tide enters the SEC Championship against the Bulldogs as 13.5-point favorites.
Prior to wearing the elephant head, though, Corso did breakout a different mascot head. It was one never seen previously — a head of rapper and Athens native Quavo.
Quavo, who is a Georgia fan, picked the Bulldogs to win.
While the Quavo head is very cool, that’s probably not enough for Corso to avoid the wrath of Dawg Nation on social media for picking Alabama if the Bulldogs are able to pull off the upset.
