There aren’t many rivalries that are as historically close in games won by each team than in what is known as the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry between Georgia and Auburn. The Bulldogs own the advantage, 57-55-8, heading into the 2017 season.

Running back Nick Chubb has had a major impact on getting the Bulldogs back to owning bragging rights against the Tigers. Georgia has defeated Auburn in all three of Chubb’s seasons in Athens, with the star running back rushing for a combined 245 yards and 2 touchdowns in the two games he saw action. Chubb missed the 2015 game because of an injury.

Now, he has his sights on winning one more.

“It’d be great to retire from Georgia by beating Auburn four years in a row,” Chubb said Tuesday at SEC Media Days.

If he achieves that feat, Chubb will part of the first class since the UGA Class of 2006 to defeat the Tigers four years in a row. That is part of how you become a legend in Athens.
