In documents obtained by the AJC, UGA has confirmed the signings of 5-star quarterback prospect Jacob Eason and 4-star offensive tackle Ben Cleveland. That makes those signings official.

The two cornerstones of UGA’s signing class were also the first two prospects to commit to the program on Dawg Night in 2014. Those two have signed financial aid paperwork that binds UGA to offer a scholarship but doesn’t bind them to the school.

The documents now allow UGA to have unlimited contact with both prospects per NCAA rules. Eason held a ceremony last week at his high school where he signed those documents. Both recruits plan to enroll early at UGA in January and allows them the ability to sign those documents at this time.
