Happy Wednesday, which meant it was time for another round of the weekly UGA football and recruiting chat on Periscope.
Intrepid DawgNation reporter Jeff Sentell is back at it again and ready to field all your questions. We had a good chat on Wednesday evening on the back porch, with subjects ranging from the spring game turnout expectations to discussing everyone’s favorite tailgating song that puts them in the mood for UGA football.
There was also some discussion on AJ Turman being released from the UGA program. That sparked conversation about what happens with the running back position this fall and going forward.
We also had another winner in the weekly “Who am I” contest that harkens back to some of the finest to ever trek across Sanford Stadium. Props to Periscope user @kirka0210 for hunkering down and nailing this week’s question.
UGA signee Mecole Hardman, Jr. even made a guest appearance in the Periscope feed this evening. That and a UGA fan from Moscow checking-in made it a pretty unique night.
What was on the docket for tonight? Sentell answered a few questions regarding:
- What’s the deal with UGA’s newfangled “Freshman Day” it is planning for this weekend?
- Where does UGA stand with Norcross four-star defensive end Robert Beal?
- Will UGA eventually sign white-hot prospect Jeremiah Holloman?
- What’s the latest with UGA signing two quarterbacks in the Class of 2017? Has that plan evolved?
- What does the 2017 running back board look like for UGA?
- Does William Poole‘s recent decision to delay his decision hurt UGA?
- Is there any chance five-star Dylan Moses signs with UGA?
- How much has Alabama fortified his its position with Roswell safety Xavier McKinney?
- What’s the expectation of where five-star Georgia cornerback/receiver DeAngelo Gibbs will end up?
- What’s the latest with the impending visit of five-star receiver Demetris Robertson?
Unless otherwise indicated, player rankings and ratings are from the 247Sports Composite.
