Aaron Murray’s days in Kansas City could be numbered.

Per a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Kansas City Chiefs have made it known that the former Georgia quarterback is available via trade. Murray was taken by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft after setting numerous passing records at Georgia.

The Chiefs have a surplus of quarterbacks, as the Chiefs have Alex Smith as the starter. Kansas City also brought in former St. Louis Rams quarterback Nick Foles in the offseason. Former Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray is also on the roster and the Chiefs drafted Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan in the fifth round of this year’s draft.

According to Kevin Patra of NFL.com, Murray could be cut by the Chiefs. Teams have until 4 p.m. on Tuesday to get their rosters down to 75.

In his two seasons with the Chiefs, Murray has not thrown a pass in the regular season.

The Chiefs open their season on Sept. 11 against the San Diego Chargers.
