Another day, another honor for Roquan Smith.

Georgia’s junior inside linebacker was named by the SEC coaches to the first-team defense of the all-conference team on Tuesday.

This recognition comes a day after Smith was named AP All-SEC first team and two days after winning the Butkus Award.

Smith led a total of five Bulldogs included on the conference’s first and second teams.

After an excellent comeback season, senior running back Nick Chubb was named to the coaches All-SEC first-team offense. And after helping to open holes and lead Chubb down the field, senior left tackle Isaiah Wynn also received the first-team offense All-SEC honor. Wynn was named to the AP first team as well on Monday, while Chubb headlined the AP second-team offense.

On the coaches All-SEC second team, the Bulldogs added two more players. Senior outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter mirrored his second-team AP recognition with the same from the conference’s coaches. And junior cornerback Deandre Baker earned second-team All-SEC honors as well.

Georgia finished the regular season 11-1 before winning the SEC Championship on Saturday and advancing to the Rose Bowl, where the Bulldogs will play Oklahoma.
