A day after telling the AJC that UGA led over Duke, Dylan Singleton ended up committing to Duke.

Singleton, a 4-star safety from Archer High School, told the AJC that the main reason why he changed his mind was because of a long conversation he had with his family.

“They just told me to make a grown man decision rather than a young man’s decision,” Singleton said. “I chose a 40-year decision rather than a 4-year decision.”

The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder now joins his brother, Deondre Singleton, who is a starting safety for the Blue Devils. Dylan said his brother didn’t really have an impact on his recruitment.

In the video above, Singleton talks about his plans for any official visits and goes more in-depth on his decision.
