Adopted Bulldog Devon Gales moves legs on his own
Do you believe in miracles? The family of Devon Gales has continually said it does, and relatives believe they may be witnessing one right about now.
Gales is the former Southern University football player who suffered a paralyzing spinal injury in a September game against the University of Georgia last fall. Gales was able to move one of his legs under his own power recently, according to a video the family posted on their Gales’ Facebook page Wednesday. The post was later shared on Baton Rouge television station WAFB Wednesday night.
It shows Gales laying on his back in his bed and lifting his left leg a few inches on the command of his stepmother, Tanisha Gales.
The Bulldog Nation has reached out to the Gales family through prayer and generous donations ever since he suffered the paralyzing injury blocking on a kickoff return on Sept. 26 of last year. After spending months in Atlanta’s Shepherd Center, a foundation was established to build a customized home for Gales in his hometown of Baton Rouge and to help the family pay for daily medical care.
WON’T HE DO IT!!!!! Please keep the prayers going up! GOD IS NOT THROUGH WITH HIM YET!!!!!! My baby is gonna walk again!!!
