UPDATE: Andrew Thomas returned to play in the fourth quarter of Georgia’s game against Florida.

Georgia starting left tackle Andrew Thomas left the Florida game Saturday in the first quarter with an apparent right leg injury.

Thomas eventually walked off the field on his own power and went into the Georgia injury tent. He later exited the tent and was seen walking around on the sideline.

He did not return on the Bulldogs’ next possession. Cade Mays moved over from right guard to replace Thomas. Freshman Trey Hill took over at right guard.

The injury appeared to be different from the left ankle sprain Thomas suffered at South Carolina on Sept. 9. He left the Missouri game two weeks later when he re-aggravated the injury. Georgia coach Kirby Smart said Thomas rolled the ankle again against LSU two weeks ago, but Thomas stayed in that game.
