MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It turns out that Riley Ridley and Michael Chigbu won’t be the only Georgia wide receivers sitting out on Friday.

Shakenneth Williams is not dressed out to play as Georgia begins pregame warm-ups at the Liberty Bowl. There was no previous known injury for Williams, so it might have happened late in the week.

Williams, a junior, doesn’t have any catches this year. He has played in two games, starting one.

Ridley (12 catches for 238 yards) is out for the game with an ankle injury. Chigbu (9 catches for 88 yards) is out with a knee injury. And Shaquery Wilson – who didn’t have any catches this year – opted to transfer before bowl practice.

That leaves Georgia with eight scholarship receivers available for the game. Sophomore Jayson Stanley is available after missing the final four games of the regular season.
