After starting the season 3-0, Georgia is starting to creep up the polls.

The Bulldogs had an impressive 42-14 win over Samford on Saturday, and as a result, they moved up in both the Coaches and AP polls.

Georgia is No. 13 in the AP poll, moving up two spots from last week’s rankings. In the Coaches poll, the Bulldogs are No. 12, up one spot from the Week 3 rankings.

Running back Nick Chubb has arguably been Georgia’s best player on the young season, rushing for 290 yards and four touchdowns through three games. He’s also averaging a team-best (min. 20 carries) 6.6 yards per attempt.

Freshman QB Jake Fromm has also stepped up for the Bulldogs. Replacing an injured Jacob Eason, Fromm has been good in two wins over Notre Dame and Samford, throwing for 449 yards and five scores and one pick while completing nearly 60 percent of his passes.

Georgia’s defense has also been effective, holding opponents to just 266 yards per game — good enough for No. 16 in the country.

Next up, Georgia will face No. 19 Mississippi State at home.
