Brother of top UGA target killed in car crash
The brother of one of the top college football prospects out of the state of Georgia was killed in a car accident on Thursday.
Christian Tutt is a 4-star cornerback from Thomson High School. He’s a rising junior who has more than 30 early scholarship offers, and is overwhelming favored to sign with UGA, per the 247sports Crystal Ball predictions.
On Thursday morning, Christian’s older brother, Chris Tutt, was killed after his 2015 Honda Accord “left the roadway” and “struck a culvert with its undercarriage before hitting two trees,” according to the Augusta Chronicle.
Chris, 20, played quarterback and defensive back at Thomas, graduating in 2015.
It’s the second time in less than a year that Christian has dealt with tragedy. Last summer, he canceled a trip to UGA after a childhood friend drowned while swimming in a chalk-mine pond.
