Danny Kanell declares Florida will win SEC East: ‘Book it’
Noted SEC hater Danny Kannell jumped on the bandwagon of the Florida Gators after UGA quarterback Jake Fromm decided to leave early for the NFL on Wednesday.
Kanell is a former quarterback for Florida’s chief rival, Florida State. He also was a college analyst for ESPN who now works in a similar position for Fox Sports 1, along with serving as a co-host for a national radio show on SiriusXM.
Minutes after Fromm announced, Kanell’s hate for Florida turned into some Gator love:
Florida Gators are going to win the SEC East next season. Book it.

Kanell later tweeted out some love for Fromm, before returning to his anti-SEC role — and firing off tweets at Gator fans who probably weren’t happy with his new-found affection for the Florida.
In related news, as bad of a day it was UGA, Florida fans surely had to celebrate, as Fromm was 3-0 vs. the Gators. On top of that, some of the Florida media echoed Kanell’s hot take – saying the Gators now appear to be the team to beat in the SEC East for 2020.
Who does this mean the most for? Probably the Florida Gators. With all UGA is already losing, adding Fromm to the mix while Gators return talent means UF should be presumed favorite to win the East this year. https://t.co/jI1RpVVA6g

Fromm leaving Georgia. #Gators have to be the favorites in 2020 to get to Atlanta. https://t.co/M73vaNObto
