Georgia football is the No. 1 topic every day on DawgNation Daily — the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans. Catch up on everything happening with UGA athletics with host Brandon Adams and the cast of DawgNation experts as they break down the latest Georgia football recruiting news and discuss UGA coach Kirby Smart’s quest to keep the Bulldogs on top of the SEC. On episode No. 658 (March 8, 2018) of the podcast, Georgia fans can hear a discussion about a video that could be a good sign about Deangelo Gibbs.

Georgia football podcast: UGA video includes moment fans were hoping to see

Beginning of the show: Two Georgia football players with uncertain status for the upcoming season — linebacker Natrez Patrick and defensive back Deangelo Gibbs — appear in a video released by UGA that shows Bulldogs players spending time at a Boys & Girls Club. While the video isn’t definitive proof that Patrick and Gibbs will be playing this year, it’s a welcome sight for many UGA fans to see them participating in an event with their teammates. I’ll talk more about Gibbs and Patrick on the show.

10-minute mark: I announce another former UGA star’s addition to the DawgNation Appreciation, which will take place at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theater at the Battery Atlanta on Thursday, March 15.

15-minute mark: DawgNation’s Seth Emerson joins the show. Some of the topics covered include:

  • Thoughts about UGA’s win over Vanderbilt in the first round of the SEC Tournament
  • How does UGA match up with Missouri in the next round?
  • Seth discusses his profile of Azeez Ojulari
  • Is Gibbs’ appearance in the official UGA video a good sign?
  • Thoughts on UGA football scheduling

30-minute mark: I look at some other SEC headlines, including Nick Saban considering hiring Butch Jones, Auburn hoping to add transfer offensive lineman Calvin Anderson, Florida looking to add potential graduate transfer quarterback Joe Burrow, and Nick Fitzgerald releasing a video showing his return from injury.

End of show: I update the Gator Hater Countdown and remind DawgNation Daily listeners and viewers about the brand new DawgNation Daily Double posted at the DawgNation Forum.
