Georgia football podcast: An open letter to Jake Fromm from a UGA fan

Beginning of the show: Former Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm recently shared some of his top memories from his UGA career. He discussed the win at Notre Dame in 2017, the game in which he threw a “flea flicker” against Mississippi State and the Rose Bowl victory vs. Oklahoma as well. Those are obviously iconic moments in UGA’s recent history, and it’s easy to understand why they’re prominent memories for Fromm. However, I’ll explain on today’s show why those aren’t the only moments for which I hope Fromm has fond recollections.

10-minute mark: I discuss four-star linebacker Chas Chambliss’ UGA commitment.

15-minute mark: DawgNation’s Mike Griffith joins the show. Some of the topics covered include…

  • UGA and the SEC’s plans to welcome back players to campus starting June 8
  • The chances we see fans in the stands this fall
  • And Mike’s thoughts on Fromm’s career

30-minute mark: I take a look at some other SEC headlines including the delayed announcement about early season TV times, a former Mississippi State defensive back transferring to Ole Miss, a former NFL quarterback’s son committing to Florida and more.

35-minute mark: I preview the commitment announcement for four-star tight end Moliki Matavao.

End of show: I share the Gator Hater Updater.
