Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason is preparing for his sophomore season, and as he does so there are obvious questions about his development. Eason showed flashes in 2016 of the skills expected from a former Gatorade Player of the Year, but there were also moments when Eason demonstrated he still had plenty to learn.

Will Eason display growth this season — both as a player and as a leader? That remains to be seen. However as significant as those issues are, there is an even bigger unanswered question for Eason than that, and I’ll talk about that today on DawgNation Daily — the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans.

Plus I’ll explain why UGA fans hoping to see more of sophomore Mecole Hardman this season may get their wish, and I’ll share some interesting audio from UGA coach Kirby Smart discussing freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Holloman.

DawgNation recruiting insider Jeff Sentell also joins the show and some of the topics he’ll share opinions on include…

  • The performances of several UGA recruiting targets at the Nike The Opening Regional at Buford, Ga. on Sunday
  • The latest details concerning 3-star quarterback James Foster
  • 4-star wide receiver Kearis Jackson’s thoughts on UGA
  • And Jeff explains why 4-star linebacker JJ Peterson is trending away from the Bulldogs.
