Georgia will have an easy road back to the SEC Championship Game, according to USA Today Sports handicapper Danny Sheridan.

During an appearance on the Paul Finebaum Show Friday, Sheridan said the Bulldogs should be favored in “every game” during the 2018 season.

“They will be favored in every game,” Sheridan said. “I hear on your show and other shows, ‘Well, South Carolina is improved.’ They may be, but Georgia will be about a two-touchdown favorite, closer to 14 than 12 over South Carolina — at South Carolina. It will be two-touchdown (favorites) over Florida.”

Sheridan added the Bulldogs should be a “double-digit favorite over everyone at home except Auburn,” but should still be a possible “3 ½ or 4-point favorite,” as well as being favored by either “6 or 7″ at LSU.

“This is pretty unusual for Georgia to be favored. I know it’s unusual, I don’t remember it happening,” Sheridan said. “I see Georgia winning 11 games.”

The Bulldogs went undefeated against SEC East opponents and avenged their only regular-season loss with a 28-7 victory against Auburn in the SEC Championship Game before being defeated by Alabama, 26-23, in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Georgia will kick off its 2018 season against Austin Peay at Sanford Stadium on Sept. 1.
