UGA cancels classes through Tuesday because of Hurricane Irma
The University of Georgia has cancelled classes for Monday and Tuesday due to Hurricane Irma.

University of Georgia students will have a little extra time to enjoy their team’s victory over Notre Dame — and possibly get some studying in — as classes are cancelled for Monday and Tuesday because of Hurricane Irma.
The University announced the closing on Twitter:

Hurricane Irma caused several football games to be cancelled in Florida this weekend, including Florida hosting Northern Colorado and Florida State taking on Louisiana-Monroe.
Georgia is set to host Samford on Saturday in Athens, Ga.
