UGA earned a much-needed win on Saturday, when it defeated SEC East foe Kentucky, 27-3. The win prompted UGA tight ends coach John Lilly to tweet that it was a “good day.”

Any SEC win should be celebrated, but for one fan took issue with Lilly’s comment after UGA went 1-3 in October and fell short of an SEC East title, watching rival Florida claim it on Saturday, instead.

Considering the rumors and speculation that surrounded the UGA program during the week leading up to Saturday’s game, Lilly has reason to be proud of his players. He has reason to believe the win made for a good day, because a loss certainly would have made it much worse.
