Former Bulldogs Todd Gurley and Alec Ogletree named Los Angeles Rams captains
Todd Gurley and Alec Ogletree both starred at Georgia in recent years before the Rams drafted the former Bulldogs, and now each has been given a big honor.
The Los Angeles Rams have named Gurley and Ogletree their captains at the running back and linebacker positions, respectively. Gurley and Ogletree were first-round draft picks by the franchise. They are two of the team’s six captains for the 2017 season.

While still in St. Louis, the Rams drafted Ogletree with the No. 30 overall selection in the 2013 NFL Draft. Gurley was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Ogletree made the 2013 All-Rookie team with the Rams and was a second-team AP All-Pro in 2016. He was also an alternate selection for the Pro Bowl last season.
Gurley came back from a season-ending injury at the end of his Georgia career to win NFL Rookie of the Year in 2015. He also made the Pro Bowl in that rookie season.
