Former Georgia DB Shaq Wiggins announces transfer from Louisville
Shaq Wiggins career got off to a great start with the Georgia Bulldogs. A starter as a true freshman, Wiggins looked like he would be a key piece of Mark Richt’s defense for several years. But after that one season in Athens, Wiggins decided to transfer to the University of Louisville to play for Bobby Petrino.
With the Cardinals, Wiggins continued again showed early promise, earning All-ACC honorable mention in 2015. But nagging injuries began to take their toll, and he lost much of that playing time in 2016. Now, Wiggins is one the move again, as he took to Twitter to announce his transfer from Louisville on Monday:

There is no word at this time on potential destinations for Wiggins, but as a graduate transfer, he should be eligible to play immediately at whatever school he chooses.
