The fallout from Georgia’s national championship game loss to Alabama will last a little longer than preferred for former Georgia golfer Kevin Kisner.
Kisner made a bet with former Alabama golfer Justin Thomas for the National Championship Game on Monday. And with the Crimson Tide’s 26-23 win, Kisner now has to hold up his end of the bargain.
He detailed the parameters of the bet on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
I pay my bets and I will wear this jersey on 17 @SonyOpenHawaii today. I will also get @JustinThomas34 to sign it and I will raffle it off to benefit @KizFoundation as well as a @FootballUGA jersey signed by both. We will send out the link tomorrow! pic.twitter.com/5oEYwSNHHs

We’ll have to track Kisner’s performance on the 17th hole to determine if the Crimson Tide jersey improves or hurts his performance.
And great for Kisner to both honor the bet and turn it into an even better and more meaningful gesture by raffling the signed Alabama and Georgia jerseys for charity.
Kisner likely is taking the loss pretty hard, given his fervent fandom for the Bulldogs. Earlier this season, he took a helicopter from a tournament in Atlanta to make it to Sanford Stadium in time for a night kickoff between the hedges.
