If you’re wondering what Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate sounds like, all you have to do is take the time to watch this short interview with former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.
Murray says right off the bat, “You just don’t like anything about Georgia Tech” before going off on a few other things related to that school in Atlanta.
Check it out as Murray doesn’t hold back and pokes fun at the football team, the school and its fans.
One would figure Murray wouldn’t harbor too much disdain toward a school that he went 4-0 against (he mentions those “beatdowns” with glee in the above video), but he obviously does.
“The first thing, I hate their offense,” Murray started. “I think it’s a high school-type offense. It’s gimmicky, so it just drives you nuts that our defense has to prepare for that offense all week so it’s kind of like, ‘Really? Let’s run more of a pro-style offense.’ Kind of nonsense over there. They’re just a bunch of nerds.”
He was also asked to paint a picture of the typical Yellow Jackets fan.
“Someone with short shorts, glasses, and they don’t know what first-and-10 means.”
No. 7 Georgia (10-1) and Georgia Tech (5-5) kick off on Saturday at noon ET on ABC from Bobby Dodd Stadium. The Bulldogs have lost two of the last three in the rivalry, including a 28-27 loss last season.
