Former Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green suffers ‘significant’ hamstring injury
Earlier this afternoon, former Georgia star wide receiver A.J. Green went down with a hamstring injury. We now have some more concrete information on the nature of Green’s injury, and it is not good news. From NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport:
Source: #Bengals WR AJ Green has a tear in his hamstring. MRI is coming, but it's believed to be significant. Not good.

You probably knew when it was reported that Green needed a cart to leave the field that this was likely a serious injury. Now, unfortunately, we have confirmation for those suspicions. From the tone of that tweet, it would not be a surprise if Green’s season is over.
Green was the first of two former Georgia stars to be carted off during today’s NFL games, as former linebacker and current Chicago Bear Leonard Floyd was taken off with a head or neck injury.
If Green’s season is indeed over, he’ll finish the 2016 season with 66 catches for 964 yards and 4 touchdowns.
