Isaiah McKenzie, the Denver Broncos’ fifth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, signed a four-year contract Monday, according to his agent.

Denver traded up in the fifth round to select the wide receiver at No. 172 overall. McKenzie compiled 44 catches for 633 yards and 7 touchdowns in his final year at Georgia. He also returned 5 punts and a kickoff for touchdowns over the course of his college career.

McKenzie’s initial impact could come on Denver’s special teams unit.

He is the first member of the Broncos’ 2017 draft class to officially sign a contract.

Denver starts rookie minicamp Friday.
