Georgia fans haven’t been this excited in a long time. They just saw their team win a classic game ― a 54-48 double-overtime victory over Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl ― and will see their team play in the national title game in Atlanta.
And shortly after the realization that Georgia was playing in the National Championship Game, one thought came to mind: tickets.
And the demand was so great that, according to Darren Rovell of ESPN, the StubHub site for tickets to the national title game crashed.
Georgia pulled off an epic win that saw the Bulldogs rally from 17 down. The Bulldogs also trailed late in the fourth quarter before Jake Fromm led them on a comeback drive to tie the score.
The Bulldogs will take on the winner of the Alabama-Clemson game on Jan. 8 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Georgia won the SEC Championship Game in the same building.
