Tralee Hale, the mother of Georgia football defensive back Kelee Ringo, was diagnosed with Triple Negative Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer back in June. On Friday she provided a positive update on how things are going as well as an update on her future.
Hale revealed that her chemotherapy treatment thus far has shrunk her tumor to half of its size. She also spoke about how she will be relocating to Atlanta from Scottsdale, Ariz., in part to be closer to her son and to continue her treatment.
Earlier this offseason when Hale first announced that she was battling cancer, a GoFundMe was started and over $38,000 were raised for her in her fight against cancer.
