Georgia coach Kirby Smart and his wife, Mary Beth, understand the value of competition. So of course you’d be interested to learn who won in a fun showdown between the two.
Recently, SEC Network’s Peter Burns visited with the first couple of Georgia football in Athens. In a creative twist, Smart and his wife held a two-part challenge that featured ping pong and pop-a-shot.
You’ll love the banter. Plus, it’s clear Smart and his wife had a great time with the competitions.
Click here to watch the complete video. Spoiler alert: Smart won in ping pong and Mary Beth claimed the victory in pop-a-shot. (Mary Beth played for the Georgia women’s basketball team from 1999-2003, so that makes sense.)

We’d love to see a rematch someday featuring these two. Kudos to both for having a good time and allowing for a revealing glimpse into their relationship.
