The New England Patriots’ roster has a whole lot of Georgia flair these days.

The 2018 NFL Draft took place last week, and two more former Bulldogs players found an NFL home with the Patriots. Offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn went off the board at No. 23 overall, and running back Sony Michel followed at No. 31. Wynn and Michel will become comfortable in Patriots jerseys alongside two former Georgia players who already were part of New England’s roster, center David Andrews and wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell.

So Georgia’s Twitter account had some fun with that knowledge and published a photo of New England’s Gillette Stadium with a caption that called the facility “our updated North Campus.”

Clever move by Georgia. Still, Bulldogs fans who like the Atlanta Falcons likely won’t appreciate the reference, given what happened to the Falcons during an epic collapse in Super Bowl 51.

Still, here’s guessing most Georgia fans will find room in their hearts to be happy for the former Bulldogs players who are Patriots now.
