Georgia lost punter Marshall Long to a broken kneecap in early November, forcing the Bulldogs to go with part-time quarterback Brice Ramsey for the remainder of the season.
Since that tough injury, Long has been hard at work in the rehab room, getting healthy and back in shape in plenty of time for the 2017 opener. That hard work has not gone unnoticed among Georgia fans, who have been supportive from the moment Long’s injury was made public. Today, Long took to Twitter to thank those fans for their support:

Definitely a nice gesture by Long, just as it was a nice gesture by Bulldog fans to vocalize their support in the first place.
Long is expected to make a fully recovery and be ready in plenty of time for the new season.
