ATHENS — You know that feeling when you walk into a college football stadium for the first time and take a look around?
You don’t just see things, you feel them, and maybe even sense them.
Even the places most steeped in tradition have room for technology, as Georgia’s Sanford Stadium showed us last fall with the new Red LED lighting.
CFB UPDATE: NCAA president has concerns over uniformity of return
The Sunday night On The Beat Show broke down the top 20 stadiums, with the qualifier that the author of the list (me) has yet to be to Washington’s Husky Stadium, which by all counts is the finest in the Pac-12.
There was plenty of SEC representation from top to bottom., but the nicest and most loyal fans in the country are actually in another league in another Top 10 college football environment.
New Year’s Six bowl sites made the list, too, including a few that many Georgia fans have traveled to recently to see their beloved Bulldogs play.
