UGA was at the spot you’d expect them to be when the first Coaches Top 25 Poll was released on Thursday.

The Bulldogs were ranked No. 3, trailing only No. 1 Clemson and No. 2 Alabama.

The third spot seems to be the consensus opinion on UGA, which kicks off summer camp on Friday.

This year’s edition of the Bulldogs is considered to be the most talent-loaded roster under coach Kirby Smart. UGA is led by a pair of Heisman candidates in running back D’Andre Swift and quarterback Jake Fromm, although offensive tackle Andrew Thomas is considered to be the team’s overall most talented player.

No. 3-ranked UGA kicks off the season with an SEC game at Vanderbilt at 7:30pm on Aug. 31.
