UGA will be paying special teams analyst Scott Fountain a salary of $115,000 annually, according to information provided by the school.

Fountain, who was demoted from an on-field coaching role at Auburn in February, was earning $325,000 annually there, and was believed to be under contract through June.

Georgia officially hired Fountain last week. Fountain spent the past four seasons as the special teams coordinator for the Tigers. From 2009-2012, he served as Auburn’s director of player personnel.

Fountain is the second staffer Georgia has hired this offseason who served in a full-time coaching role last season. The other was new offensive analyst Jay Johnson, who spent last season as the offensive coordinator at Minnesota.
