COLUMBIA, Mo. — Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas has made the trip to Missouri and got the start before leaving the game in the first quarter with an injury.

Thomas originally suffered a sprained left ankle on the first play of the second half at South Carolina on Sept. 8. Freshman Cade Mays replaced Thomas in the 41-17 win over the Gamecocks and started in his place in the 49-7 win over Middle Tennessee last Saturday. Mays was taking reps with the first-team offense during warm-ups.

In his first career start, Mays had a holding penalty against the Blue Raiders and also missed a block that contributed to Jack Fromm being hit and fumbling in the end zone.

Receiver Terry Godwin, who didn’t play the second half of the Middle Tennessee game, appeared to be back at 100 percent during the days leading up to the trip.

Tailback D’Andre Swift played just two series against the Blue Raiders, but Kirby Smart said Monday the running back position is “100 percent.”

The No. 2-ranked Bulldogs have the exact same 70-man travel roster as they did for their only other road game this season, against South Carolina.

The positional breakdown of the travel roster:

• 3 QB

• 5 RB

• 10 WR

• 3 TE

• 10 OL

• 10 DL

• 13 LB (6 OLB, 7 OLB)

ª 12 DB

• 2 snappers
