You can’t trust everything you read on the Internet.
With bowl games being officially assigned on Sunday, sports desks everywhere are feeling the time crunch. Mistakes are bound to happen — just ask Google.
On Sunday, Georgia was selected to play in the Liberty Bowl against TCU. But a quick Google search of “Liberty Bowl” might just yield you a difference impression. This comes just over a week after the Bulldogs blew a fourth quarter lead to Georgia Tech at home, adding insult to injury.
Georgia Tech was actually selected to play in the TaxSlayer Bowl the following day against Kentucky, which Google does correctly display.
Talk about a quick turnaround for the Yellow Jackets.
