Georgia will head into its annual rivalry game against Florida in Jacksonville, Fla., next week as the No. 3 team in the latest Amway Coaches Poll.

The Bulldogs, who are coming off a bye, earned 1,463 points to stay put in position for a shot at the College Football Playoff. Big games against Florida, Auburn, and Georgia Tech, including a possible SEC Championship Game matchup against No. 1 Alabama, awaits the Bulldogs.

The Crimson Tide stayed atop the poll after a big win against Tennessee on Saturday, while Auburn, 54-20 victors over Arkansas, rose two spots to No. 19. LSU, which defeated Ole Miss 40-24, also gained two spots in the rankings, rising to No. 23. Texas A&M entered the rankings at No. 24.
