ATHENS — The people who set the lines in Las Vegas evidently aren’t panicking over Georgia’s close win over Nicholls State.

Georgia was installed as basically a touchdown favorite on the road at Missouri on Saturday. Vegasinsider.com has the Bulldogs favored by 7.5 points, while the Wynn has it at 6.5 points.

The game is set for 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.

The Bulldogs (2-0) are coming off a 26-24 squeaker over Nicholls State, an FCS team that only won three games last year. Missouri (1-1) routed Eastern Michigan, 61-14, a week after the Tigers fell at West Virginia.

Georgia has never lost at Missouri, which joined the SEC in 2012. That year the Bulldogs won a night game in Columbia, Mo., 41-20. Two years later, on the heels of star tailback Todd Gurley’s shocking NCAA suspension, the Bulldogs pulled out a 34-0 victory.
