Georgia remained at No. 15 in the updated Amway Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday, after its season-opening 31-10 win over Appalachian State on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are the fourth-highest ranked SEC team behind Alabama, LSU and Auburn.
The Bulldogs play their first road game of the season in Week 2, a matchup at Notre Dame on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC). However, Georgia will be without Week 1 starting quarterback, Jacob Eason. Coach Kirby Smart confirmed a sprained ligament in Eason’s left knee, sustained in the season opener, will sideline him.
Jake Fromm will make his first career start at quarterback this week. He completed 10 of 15 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown upon replacing Eason against Appalachian State.
