The SEC announced on Monday that UGA’s spring football game will be televised on the SEC Network.

The date and time of the annual spring game were already known – 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, per DawgNation’s Connor Riley.

Georgia’s spring game is known as “G-Day,” and this year’s scrimmage will provide Bulldog fans the first opportunity to see a trio of 5-star signees – defensive end Nolan Smith, inside linebacker Nakobe Dean, and offensive lineman Clay Webb. They all enrolled early.

Perhaps even more interesting will be observing the candidates for UGA’s backup quarterback position. They are Stetson Bennet, a former walk-on with the Bulldogs who played junior-college ball last year, and freshman Dwan Mathis, who flipped from Ohio State during the early signing period. It’s critical that UGA find a capable backup for starter Jake Fromm after the transfer of the team’s No. 2 and No. 3 quarterbacks from last season.

Back the spring game: Every SEC school will have its spring game televised live on the ESPN networks. Below is the complete schedule:
