ATHENS — The halftime show for Georgia’s basketball game on Saturday has been revealed: It’s Kirby Smart.

Smart will speak to fans at halftime of the Georgia-Arkansas men’s basketball game on Saturday night, the school said. It’s not clear how long he’ll talk or what he’ll say, but it’s fairly typical for a new football coach to speak at his school’s basketball game at some point.

The weather looms as an issue for attendance on Saturday. Tip-off for the game is at 6 p.m., which is after the worst of the weather is supposed to come through.

Smart and his assistant coaches are also expected to be at the game hosting recruits who are on campus for the weekend. They did so last weekend, with Smart sitting next to Evander Holyfield, the father of tailback recruit Elijah Holyfield.
