ATHENS — The Georgia-Florida rivalry has earned its reputation as one of the most physical grudge matches in college football, and this season’s game was no different.
Gators defensive lineman Luke Ancrum posted a picture on his Instagram account that appears to show him choking Bulldogs tight end Jackson Harris during Georgia’s 36-17 win in Jacksonville.
“You grab a dog and shake ‘em,” was the caption the 6-foot-5, 264-pound Ancrum posted with the picture.
Ancrum later tweeted he wasn’t choking Harris.
For everybody think I’m choking this man…the ref was right there and seen the whole play. Obviously y’all didn’t watch the goaline play that happened. Watch it and let me know when did I choke him cause obviously the picture just shows the ending results after he got hit

Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm said following the game that he had his eye gouged during a goal line pile up at the Florida 1-yard line.
“I thought I did, both of them, or at least one of them,” Fromm said. “I know I was getting my eye gouged out on the first one, and I don’t know if I could see too good to see if I got it in on the second one.
“It was really physical down there in the trenches.”
