ATHENS — Georgia football got back to practice on Monday with a businesslike approach.

Fundamentals were the order of the day during the media viewing portion of practice.

The No. 6-ranked Bulldogs (7-1, 4-1 SEC) play host to Missouri 5-3, 2-2) at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Sanford Stadium (TV: ESPN).

Coach Kirby Smart has stressed the importance of a good week of preparation for a Tigers team that’s coming off a bye week.

“The actions you take towards practice and the actions you take towards preparation are all things that are in our control,” Smart said.

“I think the actions speak louder than your words, and that will be important to our guys, you know, how we prepare and how we get ready and what kind of plan we put together to help us with these guys because they do a good job of making you play left-handed a lot of times.”

Cornerback Tyson Campbell, who has not played since the third game of the season, was back out running through drills on Monday.

Smart said earlier on Monday that Campbell was available if needed against Florida but still not at 100 percent. Campbell, who has been dealing with turf toe, also went through pregame drills in Jacksonville.

Sophomore linebacker Channing Tindall, who did not make the trip to Florida, was not seen during the media viewing portion of practice.

Smart did not mention Tindall when asked about Georgia’s injury situation earlier on Monday.

Defensive linemen David Marshall and Michael Barnett, who did not play against Florida according to the participation chart, were practicing on Monday.

Marshall and Rochester both appeared to be at 100 percent.
