Georgia’s impressive win over Auburn was viewed by more college football fans than any other game this season.
That’s according to a Tweet from CBS, who broadcast the SEC Championship Game on Saturday:

CBS also reports Saturday’s game was up 20 percent from last year’s SEC Championship Game, which saw Alabama trounce Florida 54-16.
Georgia’s victory was also the highest-rated SEC Championship Game on CBS since 2013 when Auburn beat Missouri 59-42.
For the win, Georgia earned the No. 3 spot in the College Football Playoff and will take on No. 2 Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. The winner of that game will face the victor of the Clemson-Alabama matchup in the National Championship.
With the loss, Auburn will battle undefeated Central Florida in the Peach Bowl.
