In a stadium that has produced a number of great games, the 2018 Rose Bowl between Georgia and Oklahoma was an all-timer.
It saw Georgia rally from 17 down just before halftime to take the lead. Then Oklahoma stormed back to take another late lead in the fourth quarter. Then Jake Fromm led a game-tying drive in the dying minutes of the game to force overtime.
The teams traded field goals in the first overtime. Then Georgia’s Lorenzo Carter blocked an Oklahoma field goal. And Sony Michel ended the game with a touchdown to win 54-48.
Naturally the internet lost its mind of the course of the 4-hour epic. Here is just a small sampling of what people were saying.
