ATHENS — Georgia has officially added a very large man to its roster.

Solomon Kindley, who is listed at 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, has sent in his letter-of-intent, Georgia confirmed.

Kindley, a three-star prospect from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Fla., was a post-Kirby Smart add to Georgia’s commitment list. New offensive line coach Sam Pittman helped secure Kindley’s commitment on Jan. 24.

He’s rated as the No. 87 offensive tackle in this year’s class by 247Sports.com.

It’s uncertain whether Kindley projects to play right away or take a redshirt. Georgia loses both of its starting tackles (John Theus and Kolton Houston), but has a bunch of holder candidates, plus freshman Ben Cleveland, a four-star prospect who enrolled early.
