Georgia freshman nose guard Jordan Davis and sophomore receiver Jeremiah Holloman were announced as starters for the Bulldogs’ game against Florida on Saturday.
This would be the first collegiate start for both players.
Davis would presumably take take the place of starting nose guard Devonte Wyatt. However, Wyatt is supposed to be available against the Gators after an unspecified lower-body injury.
Holloman was announced as a starter alongside Terry Godwin and Riley Ridley.
Davis had played in five of the Bulldogs’ six games before this week. He had seven tackles against LSU on Oct. 13. The freshman lineman was a 3-star signee in Georgia’s 2018 recruiting class. Holloman has 11 receptions for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns this season.
