WATCH: Kirby Smart goes full Nick Saban, lays into Jake Fromm even with Georgia up big
Georgia went into Nashville on Saturday and easily took care of Vanderbilt, 45-14.
It was smooth sailing for the Bulldogs, but late in the game the offense was unable to secure a first down.
And even up by 31, coach Kirby Smart went nuts on quarterback Jake Fromm as he came to the sideline. Take a look:
Up by a million and Kirby's still fired up about getting first downs. I love it. pic.twitter.com/T7y66sdpQE

This is one of Smart’s best sideline outbursts in his short tenure as coach in Athens. It has it all: visor and hair getting ruffled, showing Fromm how close and easy it should have been to convert, and the general vibe that it’s going on in the middle of a Georgia rout.
Indeed, Alabama coach Nick Saban would be proud.
In the moment, Fromm probably didn’t enjoy being on the receiving end of one of Smart’s Saban-esque moments. But he, the team and Georgia fans have to love the perfection that the second-year coach is demanding.
And hey, it’s working: Georgia is 6-0.
