Chubb ran for 222 yards and two touchdowns. It was his first game since injuring his knee against Tennessee last season. It was also the 14th time in his career that he has topped 100-yards in a game.
Eason, who was making his collegiate debut, completed of 8 of 12 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. Eason did not start, but he played a key role in helping the Bulldogs retake the lead.
Eason, Chubb and the Bulldogs return to action next Saturday against Nicholls State. The game will be the first home game of the Kirby Smart era.
